Germs, punctuation marks, Italian food and a baseball game!

I had a busy week! But it was worth it!

At school I was teaching my students about germs and different ways to stay healthy. They came out with the funniest ways to stay healthy!!! Here is one of the activities we had and they love it! The idea of this activity is to show the kiddos how germs spread easily if we don't wash our hands properly.

Here you can see their hands full of germs (flour) and how they spread their germs to their friends!

We also learned about punctuation marks and sentences. I had to spend a lot of time reviewing punctuation marks and capital letters this past week!!! I came out with this activity to remind my students how important capital letters and punctuation marks are in a sentence!

You can find this activity in English and Spanish HERE.

At home I was craving for an Italian plate, so I cook one of my favorites baked ziti. I learned this recipe from Rachel Ray... I love it!

Finally I ended my week with my son's first baseball game! It was my first time in a Tee-Ball game and I am not sure what I love more ... My son's and his team running everywhere or my husband as an Assistant Coach!!! It was the best way to end my week!

I hope you all have a great week!

  3. There has recently been developed another type of pitching machine that is designed with the use of pressing compressed air through a tube to angle the moving ball toward the batter for hitting drills. Coaches can also alter the angle of the tube in regards to other players, such as outfielders. Pop up balls can be demonstrated so that players can become accustomed to catching these rogue hits. A distinct advantage to this type of baseball pitching equipment is the use of an internal battery. The battery can be charged for a practice and recharged afterward; there is no need to attach the machine to an electrical outlet with cumbersome power cords.

  4. Sounds like you had a busy week! But yeah, it was all worth it, especially seeing your son in his first baseball game. Although it is just minor league, it will mean so much to him. Also, your hubby was pleased that you watched the game. This will boost his confidence as the assistant coach. You surely are their no. 1 fan! [Audrea Willey]
