I LOVE Christmas!!! It's full of love, happiness and celebration!

I found out that Krista from Creative Clips is making a Selfless Challenge and I couldn't resist to join!!

So, here are my sELFless actions of the week:

1. I left several post-its to my love ones around the house!

2. I sent a postcard to my sister and nieces. They live in my beautiful Puerto Rico, and I don't see them since June. :(

3. I made a Freebie for my fans!
Come back next week for more sELFless actions!

If you want to spread kindness everywhere visit Krista and join her challenge!

Have fun!

Happy Thanksgiving

I am ready for my Thanksgiving break and enjoy time with my family!!!  But, first I want to share the activities we did in class the last couple of days!

We started the week reading the book "Thanks for Thanksgiving" by Julie Markes.

After we read the story, my students wrote all the things they all thankful
for and made a fun craftivity! You can find this Craftivity {HERE}!

We also read the story "Thanksgiving on Plymouth Plantation" and watched videos from Scholastic. Later, my stories wrote sentences comparing themselves to the Indians. :)

It was a great week! Now, I am ready to spend a wonderful week with my children and husband!
Have a great week!

Senses

Last week was all about learning about senses! Here are some pics of the week.

My little ones identified the five senses using our friend "el Sr. Papá". I put some Velcro  on each part, and it was easy to pull it apart and put it back together.

They also made their own "Sr. Papa" and identified the five senses.
You can find this activity {HERE}
We made some experiments to put our senses in action.
Bells-Hearing

Soft Cushions-Touch

This experiment was the best! They were able to use all their senses! They LOVED it!
If you want to try this experiment here are the materials you need:
-vinegar
-balloon
-baking soda
-small bottle
Fill part of the ballon with baking soda and half of your bottle with vinegar. Put the ballon on the bottle and let the baking soda go inside the bottle. The gas will inflate the ballon!
Have fun!
