My first day of school is around the corner and for some of you, you're already teaching. I am super excited to link up with Carla Federle at Comprehension Connection to make this time of the year as smooth as possible and what better than fast recipes, not just for a delicious dinner but also for an engaging lesson!
I would like to share with you a recipe that will make your day one full of fun. I also included two fast recipes that can make the end of your day a relax one at home!
Making Chocolate Pudding is a delicious way to learn how to heat, cold and how friction changes the way food looks, tastes and feels! I did it with my son and it was fun!
You just need the following materials:
-Instant pudding mix
-Mixing Bowl
-Hand eggbeater
-Milk
-Measuring Cup
Third, follow the package directions on the pudding mix. This is a great opportunity to measure, estimate and more!
Discuss the changes in the mixture and then chill the mixture in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.
Here are my son's observations, predictions and finding!
Now, my kid's favorite plate! And mine too, because is easy and delicious... spaghetti with tomatoe sauce. You can download this recipe from Disney Jr. HERE!
My second recipe is beef stew (from Disney Jr). I love this recipe because you can make it in your slow cooker, and it would be ready by the time you get home! You can find this recipe HERE!
Now it's time to visit Nancy at "Teaching with Nancy" for more DELICIOUS ideas! :)
My boys LOVE making pudding...and when they are a tad older we will discuss those changes! Thanks for the freebie and have a great new school year!
