The Mitten and New Year's Resolutions

My first week back with my kiddos was great! Here are some pictures of the activities we completed.

We started the week talking about our goals for the second semester. My class came up with the best resolutions!!!!

My "Happy New Year Craftivity" in English & Spanish was perfect for this lesson!!!

We also read "El Mitón" (The Mitten) by Jan Brett. 

After we read the story, my class identified the setting, characters, wrote about their favorite mitten and made their own!!!

We also watched this read aloud from my sweet friend  Juliana Suarez (Kinder Bilingue) on You Tube and my kids loved it!
