The last couple of day my students learned all about Texas. It's one of my favorite units. As you know, I love to make hands-on activities and this unit is not an exception.
Here are some pictures of my students work.
My students made the state flower using their fingerprints and purple paint!
They made the state flag using red, white and blue tissue paper.
This is my favorite activity from this unit.. The cowboys & cowgirls!
They decorated the cowboys clothing using the Texas symbols!
