Martin Luther King

Today we woke up to a really cold morning and ice, so school was cancelled.

I am happy, because it gave me time to write on my blog and share with you some ideas.

Here are some of the activities we completed the last couple of days.

We have read different books in English & Spanish, completed a timeline of his life, equality activities and of course a CUTE craftivity!

Here are some pictures of our fun activities and books we read!

As an introduction we described how eggs can look different on the outside but look the same in the inside. It was great to captured my little ones attention!

After we read different stories, my students put MLK timeline in order and wrote some facts about him.

Friendship has no color because....
Frienship has no color because we all play together!

They wrote about their dreams and created this cute craftivity of Dr. King!

My dream is become president and treat everybody equally!

And of course to the wall they went!

You can find these activities here!

I received a great surprise when one of ,my friends from Puerto Rico sent me this picture of her lesson using one my my units! I loved it! Thank you so much for sharing Mrs. Quiñones!

Have a great weekend!

  1. Thank you for posting an excellent blog. My daughter goes to Giis Singapore school where they provide problem-based learning which helps the student to increase their IQ level student in the right way.
